Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress known for her performances in the movies Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! Her career began as an actress in the 1980s. The actress became popular for the film Tezaab starring veteran actor Anil Kooor. Her subsequent appearance on screen was Dil alongside Aamir. In her early years her Mumbai-born dancer started studying at a very early age. In her early years, as she began to act as a child actress, most of the films she produced were not successful. In the end, she was successful with Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. She decided to take a break from her profession following her marriage before returning to the world of entertainment. Recently, she played a prominent part on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit received 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. In addition, she has been recognized for her work in the social sector.
